If you planned your wedding seating chart in Prismm (the tool that used to be called AllSeated), you need a new home for it. Cvent bought Prismm in 2025 and is retiring it. The good news: your guest list comes with you, and rebuilding the room takes minutes, not evenings.
The Prismm timeline
- October 1, 2026: Prismm events become view-and-export only. You can't edit your seating chart after this date.
- December 31, 2026: prismm.com closes and support ends. Anything you haven't exported is gone.
- Prismm's business users are being moved to Cvent Event Diagramming, a tool built for venues and event planners rather than couples.
Export first, whatever you decide. It only takes a minute, and it's the one step you can't do after December 31.
Step 1: Export from Prismm
- Sign in to Prismm and open your wedding event.
- Go to the Guests tab and export your guest list to Excel. Keep the file somewhere safe.
- Export or download your floor plan and seating reports as PDFs too, so you have a picture of the room and who sat where.
Step 2: Import into Table Vows
- Create a free Table Vows account and start your event (it asks for both your first names, which it uses for each family's side).
- In the guest list, choose “Import from spreadsheet” and upload your Prismm file, or copy the rows from Excel and paste them in.
- Check the preview: Table Vows recognises first and last names, parties or households, groups and tags, meal choices and dietary notes, and skips anyone already on your list.
- Press Import.
Step 3: Rebuild the room
Use “Create a quick layout”: tell it your guest count, table shape and seats per table, and it builds the room with a head or sweetheart table, dance floor and bar. Drag tables to match your Prismm floor plan PDF, rename them to your table numbers, then drag guests in, or press Smart seat to seat everyone while keeping households together.
